PETITION DELIVERED!

The Open letter/petition was mailed and emailed to Bishop Olson last week.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

The Open letter/petition was mailed and emailed to Bishop Olson last week. We gathered over 600 signatures from across the Diocese! Thank you to everyone who helped with this.

We requested a face to face meeting with Bishop Olson to deliver the petition, and he agreed ONLY IF FATHER STEPHEN would attend with us.

We feel that it would be wrong to involve Father Stephen in this. Father Stephen’s job is NOT TO REFEREE MEETINGS BETWEEN FRK ADVOCATES AND THE BISHOP. We declined the Bishop’s offer to meet under these circumstances and requested a meeting without Father Stephen. So far, we have received no response to our request.

It was also reported that the Bishop has forbidden Ft. Worth Diocesan Priests to speak with FRK Advocates and that 2 priests were forced to apologize to their parishes for something to do with us. We’re not sure what, since we have had NO CONTACT WITH these priests.

IT IS NOT OUR MISSION TO INVOLVE THE RELIGIOUS IN OUR EFFORTS. OUR GOAL IS TO GET THE LAITY TO SPEAK UP AND STAND UP FOR OUR PRIESTS AND OUR MOTHER CHURCH!

In addition to the priests being made to apologize, it was also reported that the Knights of Columbus groups have been reprimanded for renting their facilities to us. That is unfortunate, as we did not intend to harm any person or group for merely being associated with us.

Copies of the letters and petition were also sent to the following:
